ah yes, i read about it. actually everything with much vitamin c should work, i guess. ^^ but i guess all those things work only if you make your bento in the morning. i'm lazy and i've not much time in the morning. i already make my bento in the evening while we have our evening meal.
your are the first person to take notice of this fact, but i'll let you know how i made the apples last up to a week in these containers. the container is a saf-t-fresh and is air/water tight once closed and i apply fruit preserve to the apples, the bananas really only last two days max so often i only made them upon request. i have more of these fruit bento in my food art gallery if you thought these were interesting [link] thank you again for liking this
thank you for the explanation ot tips. ^^ hm, i just use tupperware container. guess that's the problem. maybe i should searching for saf-t-fresh here in germany. ^^ but the thing with fruit preserve i've never heard. maybe i should try it. ^^
very welcome, i came up with this idea working in a produce dept and they sold well for us. we recieved the container from a food package supplies company, this is a [link] to a similar company who was the safe-t-fresh container and also i used the 24oz size in this pic. plus a [link] for the fruit preserve i used. i applied it in similar way as if breading chicken-a couple of moderate sprinkles it into a plastic bag for every whole apple i used. So i welcome you to replicate this and help spread this around the world.
